Summary

The Training & Development Intern will support the Learning & Development (L&D) team in delivering effective training programs, assisting in instructional design, and ensuring smooth coordination of training operations. This role is designed to build foundational skills in facilitation, content development, and training administration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Facilitation Support

  • Assist in conducting training sessions as a co-facilitator or backup trainer
  • Provide support during classroom and virtual training sessions
  • Help manage participant engagement and training activities

2. Instructional Design

  • Assist in developing and updating training materials (presentations, manuals, activities)
  • Support the redesign of existing training decks and learning content
  • Ensure content aligns with learning objectives and business needs

3. Training Coordination & Scheduling

  • Assist in planning and scheduling training sessions across departments
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for batch planning and calendar management
  • Maintain training schedules and attendance records

4. SharePoint & Repository Management

  • Upload and manage training content on SharePoint
  • Maintain an organized repository of training materials
  • Ensure proper version control and accessibility of documents

5. Cross-Functional Exposure (Rotation)

  • Participate in departmental rotations (e.g., QA, Operations, HR) as required
  • Gain exposure to training needs analysis and floor operations
  • Support ongoing L&D projects and initiatives

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) in HR, Business, or a related field
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in training, facilitation, coaching, or instructional design
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
