Summary
The Lead – Learning and Development is responsible for driving leadership capability and executing key organizational development initiatives across the business. This role focuses on strengthening manager effectiveness, developing future leaders, and supporting core OD processes including performance management, succession planning, and competency frameworks to build a high-performing, sustainable workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership Development (Primary Focus)
Manager Coaching
- Lead the execution of structured Manager Coaching Programs, including monthly coaching cycles and ongoing reinforcement
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching session using frameworks such as GROW and ORID, ensuring clear action plans and follow-ups
- Coach managers on:
- Effective coaching and feedback techniques
- Performance improvement conversations
- Team management, motivation, and conflict resolution
- Goal setting and performance tracking
Team Lead Training & Development
- Design and deliver monthly Team Lead training sessions across all locations
- Facilitate interactive modules covering:
- Coaching fundamentals and one-on-one techniques
- Performance management and appraisal processes
- Communication, team handling, and leadership presence
- Accountability and ownership
- Track participation, engagement, and post-training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics
2. Performance Management Support
- Support the implementation and smooth execution of performance management processes
- Track and analyze key performance indicators, including:
- Sales KPIs (conversion rates, closing ratios, productivity)
- QA scores and quality metrics
- Individual and team performance trends
- Assist managers in performance reviews, feedback delivery, and managing underperformance through structured improvement plans
3. Succession Planning
- Support the development and execution of succession planning frameworks for critical roles
- Identify high-potential employees (HiPos) and build leadership pipelines
- Track readiness and development progress for:
- Future Team Leads
- Manager-ready talent
- Maintain succession dashboards and readiness assessments
. Competency Frameworks
- Support the design, implementation, and reinforcement of competency frameworks for Team Leads and Managers
- Identify skill gaps through assessments and performance insights
- Recommend targeted development interventions to bridge competency gaps
5. Culture Transformation
- Contribute to building a high-performance culture centered on accountability, ownership, and coaching
- Support and execute culture-building and leadership engagement initiatives
- Promote a consistent coaching mindset across all organizational levels
6. Surveys & Feedback Mechanisms
- Assist in designing and rolling out engagement and pulse surveys
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Identify trends and recommend actionable improvements based on feedback
7. Change Management
- Support the rollout of new processes, policies, and organizational changes
- Assist in communication strategies and conduct training sessions for smooth implementation
- Help manage resistance and ensure adoption across teams
8. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with HR, L&D, Operations, and regional leadership
- Ensure alignment and timely execution of leadership and OD initiatives across all locations
9. Additional Responsibilities
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in leadership and organizational development
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (CHRP, SHRM, TTT, etc.) preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in Organizational Development, Leadership Development, or Talent Management
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in manager coaching and leadership training delivery
- Experience in performance management, succession planning, and competency frameworks
- Prior experience in a sales-driven environment (BPO, Banking, Insurance, Retail, or Services) preferred
- Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and analytical skills
