Summary

We are looking for a dedicated SQA Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, performance, and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should be capable of identifying issues from both technical and end-user perspectives while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Conduct API testing and validate system integrations.
• Execute automation testing and contribute to test automation frameworks.
• Perform performance and load testing to evaluate application scalability.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality throughout releases.
• Prepare testing reports and provide quality metrics for stakeholders.
• Validate data integrity through database and SQL query verification.

Requirements (skills and qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (1 to 2 years of experience)
• Strong experience in manual testing with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience creating test cases, test plans, and test execution reports.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and defect management processes.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and release management.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to identify usability issues and edge cases from an end-user perspective.
